Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member in Calgary. You will ensure smooth product flow from deliveries to store shelves, maintain inventory accuracy, and support store operations with attention to detail.

Your day-to-day includes unloading deliveries, scheduling shipments, completing paperwork, and upholding health and safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment. We value teamwork, training, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner)
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment an asset

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
