Job summary

RONA is hiring for a Receiving and Handling role to manage deliveries and inventory flow in a store setting. You will use forklift and related equipment to move products, ensure accurate stocking, and support ongoing store operations.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive training within a community-focused home improvement retailer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and move inventory to store areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory flow and stock levels on shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments; approve unscheduled deliveries when needed.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory and related paperwork.
• Perform other duties to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Become a key member of our Receiving and Handling team! Turn every incoming delivery into a success by ensuring smooth and accurate product flow. Your attention to detail will make all the difference.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
