Job summary

RONA in Rouyn-Noranda is hiring for a Receiving and Handling team member. You will help turn every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate product flow, ensuring shelves stay stocked and inventory integrity is maintained.

Key duties include receiving deliveries, sorting and unpacking products, operating store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks), scheduling shipments, and completing paperwork with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner, etc.).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
