Job summary

Crystal Clean Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a motivated, professional Sales Associate to develop new business opportunities throughout HRM and surrounding areas.

You will promote our commercial janitorial and kitchen cleaning services, generate leads, build client relationships, prepare proposals, and contribute to the company's sales growth. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, cold outreach, presenting proposals, and closing deals while maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales or business development is asset.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate leads and develop new business independently.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
• Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and visiting commercial clients.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout HRM and surrounding areas.
• Promote commercial janitorial cleaning and kitchen cleaning services.
• Build relationships with businesses, property managers, facility managers and other decision-makers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, and in-person visits.
• Identify prospective customers and qualify sales opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
• Follow up with prospective clients, negotiate terms, and help close sales.
• Maintain accurate client information, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
• Track sales opportunities and provide regular pipeline updates.
• Work toward achieving established sales targets.
