Job summary

Crystal Clean Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to develop new business opportunities across HRM and surrounding areas.

You will promote our commercial janitorial and kitchen cleaning services, generate leads, build client relationships, prepare proposals, and contribute to the company's sales growth. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to travel throughout HRM, and a proven track record in closing deals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, especially B2B and facility services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate leads independently and travel throughout HRM.
• Self-motivated, organized and results-oriented.
• Comfortable with cold calling and visiting commercial clients.
• CRM experience is an asset; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout HRM and surrounding areas.
• Promote commercial janitorial cleaning and commercial kitchen cleaning services.
• Build relationships with businesses, property managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, and in-person visits.
• Identify prospective customers and qualify sales opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
• Follow up with prospective clients, negotiate terms, and help close sales.
• Maintain accurate client information, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
• Track sales opportunities and provide regular pipeline updates.
• Work toward achieving established sales targets.

Territory

The primary territory includes Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, and surrounding communities within the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Competitive base salary plus commission.
