Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a skilled AZ Driver to join our Transportation team, starting at 6:00am, Monday–Friday. You will transport metal materials to and from client sites and AIM facilities.

Requirements include a valid AZ license with a clean CVOR and Driver Abstract, at least 2 years of AZ experience, and the ability to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins. We offer overtime after 44 hours, a full-time permanent position, vacation, benefits, and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• AZ license with clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract.
• Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission.
• Minimum 2 years of AZ Driver experience.
• Physically fit and able to hand tarps 40 and 53yd bins.
• Able to perform loading/unloading as required.
• Familiarity with metal recycling processes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ-class truck transporting metal materials to/from sites.
• Safely load and unload materials and secure loads.
• Perform manual tarping if necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation teamstarting at 6:00am,Monday-Friday.You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.

What you’re responsible for:

• Operatingan AZ-classTruckto transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipmentand secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Performing manual tarping if necessary
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
• Completingaccurate and thorough records of deliveriesand any other required documentation

To join our team:

• You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
• You have a minimum of 2years of experience as an AZ Driver
• You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
