Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is hiring an AZ Driver for night shifts (Sunday-Thursday) to transport metal materials between sites and AIM facilities. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery and maintain accurate records.

Training provided before you earn $36/hour with potential to exceed $100,000 annually with experience. You must have an AZ license, clean CVOR, 2+ years of AZ driving, and be physically able to tarp and handle heavy bins.

Qualifications

• AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract.
• Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an AZ Driver.
• Physically capable of hand tarp 40 & 53yd bins.
• Able to perform loading/unloading as required.
• Familiarity with metal recycling processes an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate an AZ-class lugger/roll off truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations.
• Safely loading and unloading materials and secure loads to prevent shifting during transit.
• Perform manual tarping when necessary.
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Complete accurate delivery records and required documentation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation teamfor a night shift,Sunday-Thursday.You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.

What you’re responsible for:

• Operatingan AZ-class lugger/roll offtruckto transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipmentand secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Performing manual tarping if necessary
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
• Completingaccurate and thorough records of deliveriesand any other required documentation

Qualifications

• You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
• You have a minimum of 2years of experience as an AZ Driver
