Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an AZ Driver to join our Transportation team, starting at 6:00am, Monday to Friday. You will transport metal materials safely to client sites and AIM facilities, performing load securement and routine vehicle checks.

Applicants should have a valid AZ license with a clean CVOR, 2+ years of AZ driving experience, and be able to tarp 40 and 53 yard bins. OT applies after 44 hours and we offer a supportive, dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract.
• Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission.
• Minimum of 2 years of AZ Driver experience.
• Physically fit and able to tarp 40 & 53 yd bins.
• Familiarity with metal recycling processes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate an AZ-class truck to transport metal materials to/from designated locations.
• Safely load and unload materials and secure the load to prevent shifting.
• Perform manual tarping when necessary.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation team starting at 6:00am,Monday-Friday. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.

What you’re responsible for

• Operatingan AZ-classTruckto transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipmentand secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Performing manual tarping if necessary
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
• Completingaccurate and thorough records of deliveriesand any other required documentation

• You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
• You have a minimum of 2years of experience as an AZ Driver
• You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins

• You are familiar with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
