Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a skilled AZ Driver to join our Transportation team in Canada. The role starts at 6:00am, Monday-Friday, transporting metal materials to and from client sites and AIM facilities.

You will operate an AZ-class truck, load/unload, tarp when needed, and maintain delivery records with safety and compliance as priorities. Requires 2+ years AZ driving experience and a clean CVOR.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract.
• Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver.
• Physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins.
• Loading and unloading activities as required.
• Familiar with metal recycling processes (an asset).

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ-class truck to transport metal materials to/from designated locations, following traffic laws and policies.
• Safely load and unload materials and secure loads to prevent shifting.
• Manual tarping as required.
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Complete accurate delivery records and related documentation.

We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation teamstarting at 6:00am,Monday-Friday.You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.

What you’re responsible for:

• Operatingan AZ-classTruckto transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipmentand secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Performing manual tarping if necessary
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
• Completingaccurate and thorough records of deliveriesand any other required documentation

Qualifications
