Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a skilled AZ Driver to join our Transportation team in Ajax, Ontario. Starting at 6:00am, Monday–Friday, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of metal materials to and from client sites and AIM facilities.

You will operate an AZ-class truck, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and tarp materials, and keep accurate delivery records. A clean CVOR and valid AZ license with 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• AZ driver’s license with clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required
• Minimum 2 years of AZ Driver experience
• Physically able to hand tarp 40 and 53 yd bins
• Able to perform loading/unloading activities as required

Responsibilities

• Operate an AZ-class truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations
• Safely load and unload materials and secure loads during transit
• Perform manual tarping when necessary
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation teamstarting at 6:00am,Monday-Friday.You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.

What you’re responsible for:

• Operatingan AZ-classTruckto transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipmentand secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Performing manual tarping if necessary
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
• Completingaccurate and thorough records of deliveriesand any other required documentation

Qualifications

To join our team:

• You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
• You have a minimum of 2years of experience as an AZ Driver
• You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
