Pfaff Automotive Partners in Markham, ON is seeking a 310S Automotive Technician to perform repairs, inspections, and diagnostics to manufacturer standards, document all work, and road-test vehicles as required, ensuring customer cars are safe and performing at peak levels.

This role offers competitive pay from CAD 31.00 to 43.00 per hour, full-time benefits, ongoing training, and growth opportunities within a large North American dealer network.

Qualifications

• Must hold 310S Automotive Service Technician trade certification and provincial credentials.
• Valid Ontario driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to drive manual transmission and work as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• As a Technician you will perform repairs on vehicles as assigned.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnosis, and assessments to manufacturer standards.
• Document all work on repair orders and quality check before completion.
• Road test vehicles as required and ensure customer cars are clean.
• Attend training courses and assist in training apprentices.

We are looking for top talent, 310S Automotive Technician to join our team at BMW Markham and lead us to the road to success.

As a Technician you will:

• Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned.
• Performs vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
• Documents all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles as required.
• Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
• Attends all training courses as requested by service management.
• Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians.

Skills and Qualifications

• 310S Automotive service technician trade certification, meeting provincial requirements.
• Maintains all relevant Licences and Qualifications to perform duties.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures.
• Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
