Job summary

Pfaff Subaru in Guelph, ON is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Enjoy stable and predictable pay with no flat rate, and opportunities to maximize earnings through proficiency bonuses and active training programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed 310S Technician Journeyperson.
• Maintain all relevant licenses and qualifications.
• Strong diagnostic skills and commitment to quality.
• A team-first mindset and customer-focused approach.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures.
• Drive manual transmission.
• Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on vehicles as assigned.
• Perform vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
• Document all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles as required.
• Handle customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.
• Attend all training courses as requested by service management.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentice technicians.
• Shuttles vehicles into and out of service area.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
• Set-up and organizes individual work area with designated supplies, forms and resource materials while maintaining cleanliness.

Compensation Range: $33.50-$36.50/hour plus proficiency bonus.

Vacancy: This is an additional role.

Reports To: Service Manager.

Location: Onsite in Guelph, Ontario.

Schedule: Times vary, 8 hour shifts full-time.
