Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll collaborate with our Marketing and Client Success Team and other stakeholders to bring on new clients and support our continued growth.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment and are excited to work closely with a dedicated, innovative team, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Development & Qualification: Identify and nurture marketing and thought leadership leads.
  • Pipeline Management: Leverage HubSpot to manage deal pipelines, track progress, ensure timely follow-up and maintain HubSpot data accurately and according to internal practices. Good data equals success!
  • Execute Sales Strategies: Design and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage prospects and convert leads.
  • Relationship Building: Build trusted, long-term relationships with prospects through thoughtful and tailored communications.
  • Collaborate: Partner with the CEO, Marketing and Client Success teams to generate leads and ensure a seamless client acquisition process.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, uncovering new opportunities to refine sales strategies.
  • Reporting & Insights: Share regular updates with the CEO on sales performance and pipeline activity.
  • Travel: Represent Halmyre at client meetings and conferences (up to 5 trips annually, including travel within Canada and the U.S.).

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years in sales or business development, with a proven track record in selling products to the association marketplace.
  • CRM Expertise: Advanced proficiency in HubSpot for managing pipelines and sequences.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong skills in developing and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for building rapport and influencing stakeholders.
  • Technophile: A proven affinity for adopting new technologies to improve your work; we love AI, video and all that it can bring to helping us connect with our clients better.
  • Independence: A self-starter who thrives in remote work settings and is highly capable of managing responsibilities autonomously.
  • Flexibility: Availability to travel across North America (valid passport required).
  • Positive Outlook: A well-developed sense of humor with the desire to achieve and have fun doing so!

Nice to Have

  • Experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments.
  • Experience with the full Google Suite and project management platforms, such as Monday.com.

What We Offer
At Halmyre, we take care of our team, offering:

  • Competitive base salary with performance-based compensation.
  • Comprehensive group benefits, including an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).
  • Paid volunteer time off, personal days, sick days, and vacation days.
  • Flexibility and support for work-life balance as part of our remote-first culture.
  • A commitment to professional development, including access to the full LinkedIn Learning catalogue.
  • An exciting opportunity to shape a new role, contribute meaningfully, and grow with a forward-thinking organization.

How to Apply
If you’re excited about this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your resume and a short video outlining your experience selling to association leaders and your vision for the role, along with your salary expectations.
