The OpportunityWe’re looking for aBusiness Development Manager (BDM)to be apart of our growth efforts inOntario, focusing on building and expanding relationships withmortgage brokers in the Ontario market. This role is central to Bloom’s growth strategy and will be instrumental in bringing our reverse mortgage solutions to more Canadian homeowners. This role will be reporting directly to ourRegional Vice President of Business Development.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop and manage a strong pipeline ofreferral partnerships with mortgage brokers in Ontario.You will be given a designated territory within the Ontario market.Delivertraining sessions, presentations, and one-on-one coachingto ensure partners understand and confidently promote Bloom’s reverse mortgage solutionsCollaborate closely with Bloom’s internal underwriting and account executive team to support deal flow from lead to fundingIdentify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and expand Bloom’s presence across key BC marketsRepresent Bloom atindustry events, trade shows, and networking opportunitiesStay current on market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and executionMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIsProvide feedback from the field to help evolve Bloom’s product, process, and partner support toolsWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in business development, mortgage lending, or financial servicesExisting relationships within theOntario mortgage broker communityare a strong assetExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsHighly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote-first environmentWillingness to travel throughout OntarioPassion for helping older Canadians improve their financial well-beingOntario Mortgage agent licenseWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary + performance-based incentive planHealth and dental benefits packageFlexible, remote-first work environmentOpportunity to join a high-growth fintech company that’s redefining retirement in CanadaA supportive, collaborative team culture focused on impact and innovationReady to Join Bloom?We’d love to hear from you!
