The Work

The Associate Product Manager supports day-to-day responsibilities for the Insurance Lending and Reverse Mortgage businesses, including product identification, evaluation, reporting, operational enhancements, growth analysis, and departmental projects. They help maintain departmental policies and procedures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide qualitative and quantitative insights to senior management.

The core parts of your role would be to:

  • Product Development and Expansion: Collaborate with Product Managers, underwriters, and business leads to stay informed on industry landscape; develop product expertise; identify and recommend product improvements; perform cost-benefit analyses; lead discovery and execution; act as project owner; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Operational Support and Improvements: Identify automation opportunities; update calculators; monitor and implement process improvements; prepare business cases.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Manage ongoing reports; develop new reports; analyze data to derive insights and recommend strategies.
  • Sales Support and Growth/Marketing: Monitor sales tools; analyze marketing initiatives; present data to shape strategies.
  • Strategy Development and Execution: Support in developing lending and wealth strategies; prepare materials for strategy meetings; present insights; manage projects and stakeholder engagement.
  • Underwriting Support: Serve as key contact for underwriting processes and tools.

Let’s Talk About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Math, or related field
  • 2-5+ years’ experience in financial services
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and multi-tasking skills
  • Business acumen, analytical, modeling, problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills; proficient in MS Office
  • Customer service oriented; proactive problem solver; self-motivated; enthusiastic
