Position Description

We seek a passionate, driven leader to serve as National Marketing Manager – Trade Marketing. Your role is to inspire and develop a high-performing team of territory managers who surpass sales and marketing metrics. Effective communication, coaching, and strategic execution will be vital to achieving sales targets and operational success. You will own the plumbing vertical by developing the national strategy for UA Canada and plumbing trade organizations, understanding industry trends, and identifying top projects and users within the plumbing sector. You will also plan and execute plumbing and mechanical trade shows across Canada. Your leadership will ensure every apprentice and trade professional considers Milwaukee their preferred brand.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the team to meet branding, training, and conversion targets for union training centers and trade schools in your region.
  • Develop strong relationships with UA Leadership and plan support for events, trade competitions, marketing campaigns, and product conversions at training centers.
  • Create marketing strategies for plumbing trade organizations using digital marketing, event planning, and lead generation.
  • Coordinate activities related to the plumbing strategy across JSS, event marketing, Brand, Product Marketing, operations, and supply chain teams.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate your team to become high-level operators.
  • Maintain market knowledge on competitive trends, top users, and upcoming projects.
  • Manage the team's SG&A budget to meet profitability goals.

What You Will Bring

  • At least 5 years of successful national account management or equivalent territory sales management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in team management and leadership.
  • A proven track record of account growth through tailored business planning.
  • Dependability, teamwork, and relationship-building skills to foster win-win partnerships.
  • Comfort with making presentations to groups.
  • University degree or college diploma.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and forecasting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, forecasting, and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, including presentation abilities.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and passport.
