Summary:

Rocky Mountain Optometry in Fernie, BC is looking for an associate to join our busy practice.

Rocky Mountain Optometry is a 3 practice, privately owned office with our main hub in Fernie, BC, there is a satellite clinic in Elkford, BC and a full-time clinic in Blairmore, AB as well (40 minutes away for both). Regular hours are 8:30-5:30 Monday- Friday (Yay no weekends!)

We are fully equipped in all offices with a large amount of new equipment including, Topcon Maestro OCT/Retinal photography, OPTOS, NCT/ARAK and MYAH (meibomography, topography, axial length). We also have FDT screening and Humphrey VFA. There are 4 OD’s in the practice, you will not be bored, however, with that we have the flexibility to build the schedule that fits you.

We are willing to help with accommodation and of course provide a daily minimum. Fernie is a great outdoor hub including easy access to Fernie Alpine Resort (ski hill, located 5 minutes from town with views from town), tonnes of mountain biking/gravel biking trails, hiking, SUP, fishing and camping. The winters here in Fernie are just the beginning of the fun!
