Windmill Microlending in Canada is seeking a collaborative and dynamic self-starter to serve as Associate Director, Fundraising as we prepare to close a $50M national campaign that inspires philanthropists to support newcomers.

Reporting to the National Director Philanthropy, you will manage a portfolio of 80 donors and drive major gifts while building partnerships with foundations and corporations; you will steward donors with compelling proposals and impact updates.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Google Workspace skills.
• French language ability is an asset.
• Familiarity with impact investing is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Secure new annual and multi-year revenue through donations, sponsorships, and impact investments.
• Manage a personal portfolio of ~80 donors and prospects.
• Negotiate and sustain corporate partnerships including donations, sponsorships, workplace giving, matching funds.
• Develop sponsorship packages for key events and campaigns.
• Support the CEO and National Director with briefing materials and prospect research.
• Collaborate with Client Success and Marketing to steward donors.
• Gather donor testimonials and craft impact narratives for tailored materials.
• Support campaign wrap-up with impact reporting and donor recognition.
