Job summary

UJA Federation of Greater Toronto is seeking a Senior Director, Philanthropic Leadership to lead a team of major gift officers and drive growth of high-net-worth donor support. You will oversee fundraising strategy and collaborate with senior leaders to expand the Annual Campaign and related initiatives.

The role emphasizes cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of net-new donors, with an entrepreneurial approach to expanding UJA’s donor base and pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in major gifts fundraising with 3–5 years in leadership or management.
• Track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Strong relationship-building with high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop fundraising professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of major gift officers to achieve revenue growth.
• Grow a donor portfolio with net-new high-net-worth donors and strategic prospects.
• Develop and execute growth strategies to expand UJA’s philanthropic reach.
• Collaborate across teams to align donor engagement with organizational priorities.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
