Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New Brunswick to support daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, oversee merchandising, staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback, and maintain safety and visual standards.

This role requires at least two years of retail and supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
