Job summary

BMW Markham, part of Pfaff Auto Group, seeks an Assistant Service Manager to lead service operations and develop the team. You will help implement processes, monitor performance, and ensure top-tier customer experiences in a luxury dealership setting.

The role focuses on fostering teamwork, maintaining manufacturer standards, and driving department profitability while supporting warranty compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive service advisory or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of repair processes, maintenance procedures, and warranties.
• Experience leading or coaching a team is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Valid Ontario driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring service department staff.
• Support the monitoring and evaluation of employee performance and development.
• Promote a culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure effective communication between the service department and other dealership departments.
• Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining service processes, policies, and manufacturer standards.
• Help drive customer retention initiatives and customer satisfaction performance.
• Monitor workflow efficiency and assist in achieving departmental profitability goals.
• Support warranty compliance, repair order accuracy, and operational best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the dealership.
