YMCA Calgary is seeking an Assistant Chef (Full Time) for Camp Chief Hector YMCA in Exshaw, Alberta. Salary: $42,325 – $47,028 per year. Start Date: Immediately. Affordable accommodation is available on site.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will ensure high quality meals and food service, plan meals, order supplies, and liaise with parents about dietary restrictions. You may supervise 2–15 staff depending on season.

• Strong communication and working relationships with program, asset and admin staff at CCH
• Planning meals that are appealing to participants and minimize waste
• Ordering food and supplies
• Liaison with parents and group leaders around dietary restrictions
• Supervision, coaching and supporting 2-15 staff, depending on the season and operational volume
