Job summary

Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's is seeking an Archery Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Archery department. You will supervise staff, delegate tasks, and train team members while ensuring outstanding customer service and product knowledge.

The role requires flexibility for opening/closing shifts and weekends, with emphasis on maintaining visual standards and driving sales. Experience in outdoor lifestyle products is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• Open availability - this position will be required to work store opening and closing shifts, as well as on weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer's expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks and work assignment to team members by giving clear and concise direction, and follow up to ensure proper execution.
• Foster the growth and development of team members by training various standard operating procedures and processes.
• Ensure team members follow all standard operating procedures and systems processes, following up to provide correction and guidance when needed, and reporting violations to the manager.
• Perform administrative tasks related to their assigned department
• Provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, and making product recommendations based off this analysis
• Promote company programs to team members and customers
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
