Bass Pro Outdoor World is seeking a Retail Outfitter to join a team delivering legendary customer service and expert product knowledge. You will help customers select products, promote programs, and maintain attractive in-store presentations.

The role requires ability to assess customer needs, provide solutions, and stay informed about outdoor lifestyle trends. A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist across store areas are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in sales or service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to assess customers' needs and recommend products.
• Commitment to superior customer service and exceeding expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in outdoor lifestyle is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's products is an asset.

Summary

Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, a Retail Outfitter will work within a team to create a world class shopping experience by providing legendary customer service and exceptional product knowledge to every customer.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis
• Promote various company programs and promotions
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate

Qualifications

• One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
