Job summary

Vaco is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to manage day-to-day AR, collections, and related financial processes in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves reviewing credit, processing orders within policy, and providing AR reporting.

Strong Excel and ERP experience are required to succeed. Join a team supporting e-commerce financials (Shopify, PayPal) and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

About the Opportunity

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable, including collections, payment processing, account reconciliations and customer inquiries.
• Monitor outstanding balances and proactively manage overdue accounts.
• Manage customer accounts, including national retail customers, and support reconciliations, deductions, chargebacks and vendor compliance issues.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, working with customers and internal teams to determine the appropriate resolution.
• Review customer credit applications, establish and monitor credit limits, and assess credit risk.
• Review and approve customer orders in accordance with established credit policies.
• Make informed decisions on account issues, credit and collections, knowing when an issue can be resolved independently and when it requires escalation.
• Manage collections and payment processing for independent customers while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Support e-commerce financial processes, including Shopify and PayPal.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR reporting and provide visibility into receivables, collections and outstanding issues.
• Support the administration of commissions, rebates and freight credits.
• Act as a super user for relevant financial and business systems, including HighRadius.
• Identify opportunities to improve, simplify and automate AR processes and systems.
• Support system troubleshooting, administration and training as required.
• Support credit insurance and audit requirements.

About You

• 3+ years of experience in full cycle accounts receivable
• Experience working with ERP or financial systems.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting

Salary Range

$55,000 - $70,000/year
