Job summary

Vaco in Canada is seeking an AR professional to own the full AR cycle, from customer setup and invoicing through collections, with hands-on cash application and dispute resolution. The role requires strong Excel and ERP skills and a track record of accurate aging and cash reporting.

You will also reconcile the AR subledger to the GL and support month-end close and audit requests, collaborating with sales, operations, and customers.

About the Opportunity

• Own the full AR cycle from customer setup and invoice generation through collections, managing an assigned portfolio, monitoring aging, and following up on past-due balances with escalation under credit policy where needed
• Apply cash receipts across wires, EFT, checks, and electronic payments, clearing unapplied cash, short pays, overpayments, and misapplied remittances while resolving billing disputes and deduction claims with sales, operations, and customers
• Reconcile the AR subledger to the general ledger, prepare journal entries for adjustments, write-offs, and credit memos, and support month-end close and audit requests with accurate aging and cash reporting

About You

• An AR professional with 4+ years of hands-on experience across billing, collections, and cash application, and a solid grasp of month-end close and subledger to GL reconciliation
• Comfortable with an ERP and strong in Excel, with the attention to detail to catch pricing discrepancies, unapplied cash, and master data errors before they become aging problems
• A confident communicator who builds credibility with customers and internal teams, handles difficult collection conversations professionally, and works independently with a results-driven mindset

Pay Range

$28 - $32 per hour
