Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks an AR professional to own the full AR cycle, review invoices, apply payments, and reconcile accounts. You will follow up on overdue balances, monitor aging, and escalate long-outstanding items through collections.

You will collaborate with project and operations teams to resolve billing gaps, respond to invoice inquiries, and support month-end AR reporting, leveraging ERP systems and Excel for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AR experience, reconciliation, or collections.
• Comfortable using an ERP system and Excel with high accuracy.
• Clear communicator who can work independently and across teams.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

• Own the full accounts receivable cycle, including reviewing invoices for accuracy, applying customer payments, and reconciling accounts to resolve discrepancies.
• Proactively follow up on overdue balances, monitor aging reports, and **escalate** long‑outstanding accounts through the collections process.
• Coordinate with project and operations teams to resolve billing gaps, respond to customer inquiries on invoices and statements, and support month‑end AR reporting.

About You

• A detail-oriented accounting professional with 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, reconciliation, or collections.
• Comfortable working in an ERP system and confident in Excel, with the accuracy and organization needed to manage multiple accounts at once.
• A clear communicator who can work independently while coordinating across teams, and who brings a customer-service mindset to collections conversations.

Pay Range

$28 - $30 / hour

This position for employment is for a current vacancy with Vaco/Highspring's client.

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
