Job summary

Simon Fraser University in Burnaby invites applications for the Coordinator, Undergraduate Records. You will review and audit graduation evaluations, ensure accuracy before Senate recommendations, and verify academic progress reports and course duplications.

You will coordinate the President’s Honour Roll and Dean’s Honour Roll, work with faculties to ensure compliance with policies, and design improved systems and processes to support accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Arts, Social Sciences or related discipline and three years of related experience in learning and development design and program implementation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Good knowledge of the University's general and administrative policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Good knowledge of student services and programs.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to exercise mature judgment, initiative, tact, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit graduation evaluation activities completed by faculties to ensure accuracy and completeness before forwarding for recommendations to Senate.
  • Review and audits academic progress reports and course duplications.
  • Work with faculties and departments to ensure students are compliant with the University’s course duplication policy.
  • Coordinate the President’s Honour Roll and Dean’s Honour Roll to recognize extraordinary academic achievement.
  • Evaluate and design new systems and business processes, as required.

About the Role
