Job summary

BMO is seeking a Business Analyst focused on AI-Enabled Delivery to bridge business needs with technology and AI capabilities. You will work with stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to accelerate delivery and improve requirements using AI-powered tools across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes Generative AI and AI-assisted delivery practices, ensuring responsible AI use while driving process improvements and better business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of Business Analysis experience in financial services, technology, or large enterprise environments.
• Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience using AI-enabled solutions and Generative AI tools in business analysis or delivery roles.
• Experience supporting Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of Financial Services/Banking systems (e.g., loan servicing systems, financial products).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and PDLC.
• API Integration & understanding of services (REST/SOAP).
• System architecture concepts & data flow mapping.
• Understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
• Experience with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Proven track record of requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and process analysis.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements to support strategic technology initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and expected outcomes.
• Conduct current-state and future-state assessments and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, root cause analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Support delivery teams throughout the lifecycle, ensuring requirements stay aligned with priorities.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements discovery sessions.
• Build and maintain artifacts: BRDs, user stories, workflows, process maps, SOPs.
• Support UAT, SIT, and End-to-End testing activities.
• AI-Enabled Business Analysis: leverage Gen AI tools to accelerate requirements gathering and communications.
