Job summary

Tekst is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive international expansion from our Ghent HQ. You’ll be the first line of contact with prospects for the UK market, leveraging AI tools to craft targeted outreach and run discovery calls with senior stakeholders.

Based in Ghent or the UK/Ireland, you’ll partner with Account Executives, stay ahead of AI trends, and contribute to pipeline development. This role offers a hybrid work setup and a fast-growing team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales development or similar role.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Fluency in additional European languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for opportunities: identify and engage high-potential prospects through cold calling, email, and social selling.
• AI-powered outreach: craft outbound copy and test AI-outreach tools for scalable personalization.
• Conduct high-level discovery calls with Directors and VPs to qualify opportunities using MEDDIC.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop territory plays and with Marketing on ABM strategies.
• Become a product expert to handle objections and spark curiosity.
• Diligently track activities in CRM to ensure clean handoffs and forecast accuracy.
