Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd in Trochu, Alberta, invites applications for a Territory Manager, Agriculture, to develop customer relationships and drive sales and rental revenue for New and Used Wholegoods.

The TM will manage a defined AOR, promote John Deere equipment, and report activities daily. Travel to customers is required; bilingual in English/French is a plus. Brandt offers growth, benefits, and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of agriculture equipment considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
• Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
• Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• New account creation and development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Customers.
• Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company.
• Continuous development of a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.
• Promote & sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
• Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
• Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales success.
• Deliver continuous Prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
• Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
• Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required.
• Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
• Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis.
