Job summary

A local agricultural equipment company is seeking a full-time maintenance technician in Spruce Grove. As part of the role, candidates will troubleshoot, inspect, and repair a variety of farm equipment. Candidates should have experience in mechanical maintenance and be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks. A valid driver's license is required, and work will be done onsite with no remote options available. This role offers a salary of $43.37 hourly for 40 hours per week.

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
