Job summary

Accent Dental in Fort St. John, BC, is seeking an administrative professional to join our dental team. You will greet patients, manage the schedule, and maintain patient records with attention to detail.

The role requires at least 1 year of admin experience and familiarity with dental software; a clinical background is a plus. Legally eligible to work in Canada. This on-site position offers opportunities for growth within a supportive practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them.
  • Optimize the appointment schedule to keep the day full with minimal gaps.
  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database.
  • Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations.
  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence; manage and file patient records and charts.

About You
  • Minimum 1 year of administration experience
  • Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
