Altis Technology in Brampton, ON is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a 3-month contract with potential for extension. The role is hybrid: four days on-site and one day remote, with standard business hours.

You will generate invoices, process payments, perform collections, reconcile customer accounts, and support month-end close. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots) and strong written/verbal English are required to succeed in a fast-paced retail accounting environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Strong Excel proficiency with formulas, pivots and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with vendors.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and prioritization skills.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll generate and process customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• You’ll manage incoming payments, collections, and customer account reconciliations.

• You’ll support month-end AR activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous hands‑on Accounts Receivable and accounting experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating directly with vendors.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with SAP, retail, transportation, or supply chain accounting is considered an asset.
