Newlands Group, located in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to join its Finance & Accounting team. This on-site role focuses on processing vendor invoices, coding to jobs and projects, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations for a growing real estate and development company.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential real estate or construction payables, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and ERP software.

Qualificações

• Experience in accounts payable or accounting support roles.
• Knowledge of vendor reconciliations, GL coding, and payment cycles.
• Experience with construction invoices or project-based payables is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP software.

Responsabilidades

• Process and code vendor invoices and allocate to projects.
• Match invoices to POs, contracts, and docs.
• Verify approvals and resolve discrepancies for timely payment.
• Prepare and process payments per schedules.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate issues.
• Maintain vendor records and AP documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities and accruals.
• Support tracking of project-related costs across properties.
• Communicate with project managers and site staff for approvals.
• Identify process improvements in AP.
