Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a fast-paced real estate development team in Toronto, Ontario. You will manage project invoices, vendor payments, and month-end processes, delivering accurate reconciliations and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of AP experience, a university degree in Accounting or related field, and strong Excel/Word skills with excellent communication. This in-office role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable role.
• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience managing project invoices, vendor payments, month-end support, and vendor inquiries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills – able to present information clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Process EFTs, cheques, and vendor payments accurately and on time.
• Serve as the go-to contact for vendor payment inquiries.
• Set up new vendors and verify banking documentation.
• Maintain entity records, corporate binders, and banking information.
• Support bank, sales model, and project account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end reporting, credit card reconciliation, and audits.
• Prepare government filings, partnership documents, and quarterly reports.
• Monitor accounting inboxes, process invoices, and support ad hoc projects.

A day in the life:
