Job summary

Summit Fleet in Calgary, AB is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage payables processes, vendor invoices in Certinia, and month-end activities. The role reports to Corporate Controller and supports policy compliance in a fast-growing environment.

You will build accuracy through Excel, Word, and Outlook, communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams, and contribute to process improvements and audits. 1–3 years in finance or accounting and ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Training in all aspects of an established accounting department in a high-growth environment to gain a big-picture view of the company.
• Entering vendor invoices into Certinia promptly.
• Paying vendors on time.
• Managing the AP inbox.
• Calling vendors as needed.
• Helping with month-end closing.
• Recommending process improvements for efficiency and for enhancing the business model.
• Aligning with our culture of accountability, communication, customer focus, dependability, innovation, and teamwork.
• Assisting with audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
