Job summary

Harris Computer Systems currently seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a collaborative finance team. You will handle the full scope of accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely payments and accurate processing in support of business units across North America.

You bring post-secondary education in business or accounting or 2+ years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Great Plains or similar software. A team player with keen attention to detail will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with a focus on business or accounting or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Great Plains or similar accounting software is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong communication skills.
• Team-oriented with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and expense transactions accurately and on time.
• Safeguard corporate assets by ensuring approvals for expenditures.
• Respond to supplier and employee inquiries promptly.
• Maintain supplier invoices and expense reports filing.
• Assist with GST/HST and provincial taxes remittances.
• Support the Finance team and business unit leadership.
