Contract in ON, CA Remote (within locations) - $3.75k - $3.75k

Lumerate is searching for an awesome post-secondary student to join us for a 4 month accounting internship! Please note that applications without a cover letter will not be considered.

We use machine learning to interpret the digital river of information that pours out from all corners of the web, and then we package it up so that it can be easily searched and analyzed. Our current SaaS solution, built on that river, is the ultimate smart digital assistant for busy sales professionals in different STEM industries.

What the role looks like:

• Supporting with month-end reporting, including reconciliations
• Assisting with a variety of critical accounting information, transactions and flows, including:
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Billing
  • Expense management
• Providing insights into the continuous improvements of existing reporting processes
• Gaining hands-on experience working with accounting software such as Float, Quickbooks, and Maxio

• You’ve taken an Accounting 101 course in your post-secondary education
• You’ve had experience with some form of accounting software (Quickbooks, Maxio, Float, Sage)
• You’re someone who is detail-oriented
