Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Contract Accounting Associate in our Windsor, Ontario facility. The Accounting is responsible for supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This position is an 18 month Maternity Coverage.

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Process wire transfers, EFTs, and ACH payments in coordination with banks and internal teams.
• Support bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in maintaining cash flow forecasts and treasury reporting.
• Track and record foreign exchange transactions, interest payments, and debt servicing if applicable.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes and treasury-related accruals.
• Maintain documentation for audits and financial reviews.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and internal departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Treasury or cash management experience is a strong asset.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems
