Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in handling invoicing, accounts receivables, and data management while supporting the preparation of management reports. Key Responsibilities

Invoicing

• Prepare, issue, and manage customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations while preparing invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoicing in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Maintain organized records of all issued invoices for auditing and reporting purposes.

Accounts Receivables

• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collections.
• Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments through email, calls, or other appropriate channels.
• Reconcile customer payments with outstanding invoices to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in preparing accounts receivable reports and aging analysis for management review.

Data Management

• Maintain and update financial databases to ensure accuracy and consistency in records.
• Organize and analyze financial data to assist in streamlining accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies for secure data management.

Management Reports

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with relevant financial data.
• Provide insights and analysis derived from financial data to aid strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with the finance team to deliver high-quality reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

General Accounting Support

• Assist in month-end closing processes by providing relevant accounts receivable and data management information.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve billing, collections, and reporting processes.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and records related to invoicing, receivables, and data management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Post-Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency with accounting and data management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
