A leading finance firm in Canada is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the Financial Department. This role involves preparation of accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and budget analysis. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and strong communication skills in English and Mandarin. Knowledge of SAP is an asset. This position is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating internal stakeholder relationships.
Reporting to the Financial Department manager, the Accountant supports all aspects of centralized operations revenue and cost accounting. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the month end accounting procedures and deadlines to ensure delivery of clear, accurate, consistent and relevant financial information on a timely basis. He or she will assist with the preparation of the operations balance sheet providing contestability into the numbers and adherence to procedures & policies and internal controls. The incumbent possesses strong communication skills to complement their proficient technical skills. Accountant will help establish and maintain long-term collaborative stakeholder relationships. He or she acts as a trusted personality and key contributor with the Operations and Company Finance teams.
