Maxim Truck & Trailer is seeking an Account Manager for Truck, Trailer & Lease Sales in Brandon, MB. You will build customer relationships, identify rental, lease, and used-truck opportunities, and manage full-service sales processes from prospecting to closing.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in full-service sales of heavy-duty trucks & trailers.

• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business through cold-calls, regular follow-ups and building customer relationships
• Manages & maintains requirements and needs of specific lease accounts
• Prepare sales or lease quotes that ensure profitable sale and customer satisfaction
• Closes sales or lease deals accurately using proper procedures
• Addresses after-sales questions and concerns, and ensures units are prepared for on-time delivery
• Appraises trade-ins by compiling history details, visual inspection, and discussions with customers

Qualifications

• Knowledge of potential customers in sales territory & of the overall client base
• Understanding of heavy-duty trucks & trailers and their applications
• 4 to 5 years in “full service” sales of heavy-duty trucks & trailers
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle – Class 3 an asset
• Sales / Business administration courses an asset
• Sales and customer service focused
• Easily builds rapport and relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to prospect new customers and up-sell products
• Strong negotiation, listening, and closing skills
• Regularly sets and meets priorities and long term goals
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel, email, internet
• Strong ability to learn in-house computer programs
• Ability to complete ongoing product sales training
• Shows assertiveness, persuasiveness, and initiative
• Ability to work independently
