Maxim Truck & Trailer in Brandon, MB seeks an Account Manager for truck, trailer and lease sales to build relationships and provide leasing and purchasing solutions.

You will prospect new business, prepare quotes, close deals, and support customers through delivery and after-sales, leveraging our national network and product lineup.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years in full service sales of heavy-duty trucks & trailers
• Knowledge of potential customers in sales territory & client base
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel, email, internet

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business through cold-calls, regular follow-ups and building customer relationships
• Manages & maintains requirements and needs of specific lease accounts
• Prepare sales or lease quotes that ensure profitable sale and customer satisfaction
• Closes sales or lease deals accurately using proper procedures
• Addresses after-sales questions and concerns, and ensures units are prepared for on-time delivery
• Appraises trade-ins by compiling history details, visual inspection, and discussions with customers

Responsibilities

• Understanding of heavy-duty trucks & trailers and their applications
• 4 to 5 years in “full service” sales of heavy-duty trucks & trailers
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle – Class 3 an asset
• Sales / Business administration courses an asset
• Sales and customer service focused
• Easily builds rapport and relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to prospect new customers and up-sell products
• Strong negotiation, listening, and closing skills
• Regularly sets and meets priorities and long term goals
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel, email, internet
• Strong ability to learn in-house computer programs
• Ability to complete ongoing product sales training
• Shows assertiveness, persuasiveness, and initiative
• Ability to work independently
