Maxim Truck & Trailer Inc. in Winnipeg is seeking a Dispatcher (City Courier level dispatch) to join the main branch team.

You will coordinate courier-sized vehicle dispatches, prepare driver pickup information, and ensure timely, cost-efficient service for Winnipeg facilities, customers, suppliers, and other branches. The role requires 1–2 years in a fast-paced setting, knowledge of Winnipeg courier routes, and strong communication with drivers and customers.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a fast paced work environment.
• Knowledge of Winnipeg courier routes.
• City courier dispatch experience in a retail environment requiring constant scheduling changes.
• Experience in a warehouse, picking and assembling orders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delivery and pick-up information for drivers and organizing material for pick up
• Recording freight information and send to Accounts Payable
• Delegates order fulfillment tasks to Shipper Receivers and Order Pickers
• Aids other warehouse staff to pick orders when needed and creates invoices
• Creates paperwork for parts shipped to customers i.e. waybills
• Receives product as required
• Act as primary point of contact for customers; answers internal and external inquiries regarding shipments and driver runs

Dispatcher (City Courier level dispatch)

Do you have experience in dispatching Winnipeg couriers? Do you e njoy a fast paced work environment? This role might be for you! We’re looking for a dispatcher to join our Winnipeg main branch team, focusing on dispatching courier sized vehicles.

You will ensure effective, accurate, and cost efficient pick-up and delivery service to/from the Winnipeg Maxim facilities, customers, suppliers, and other branch locations. You will also assist Shipper Receivers with picking parts and associated paperwork to ensure customer satisfaction and control led expenses.

Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:3 0 PM. This is a unionized environment.

R esponsibilities :

Prepare delivery and pick-up information for drivers and organizing material for pick up
