Reporting to the Department Head, Student Access and Support, and utilizing a service excellence approach, this position provides administrative and operational support for Accessibility Services and Assessment Services within the Student Access and Support Department. This position is responsible for organizing, administering and invigilating accommodated and external exams. This role supports students and contributes to the delivery of accessible, responsive and student-centered services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides testing support services including:
- organizing and administering accommodated and external examinations;
- Invigilating exams and ensuring compliance with institutional and external testing requirements, including privacy, confidentiality and examination security standards;
- communicating on related matters with students, instructors and external organizations;
- scheduling and organizing invigilation for exams as required;
- booking appropriate examination rooms;
- recording and scanning testing material for students;
- Maintaining statistics and examination management systems;
- Supporting the development, maintenance, and improvement of testing procedures and processes.
- Provides administrative and operational support to the Accessibility Coordinators including:
- Supporting the implementation of approved accommodations including training students on speciality programs;
- submitting and tracking Centre for Accessible Post-Secondary Education Resources BC (CAPER-BC) requests;
- researching and ordering specialty adaptive software, equipment and related resources;
- creating, maintaining and updating forms, files and related documentation;
- providing clerical support to Accessibility Coordinators;
- maintaining and updating the web content and informational materials;
- participating in student orientations, presentations and outreach activities as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Department Head.

- Demonstrated ability to learn, troubleshoot and support a variety of accessibility-related software, hardware and assistive technologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility services, disability-related funding programs, and community resources that support post-secondary student success is highly recommended.
Education and Experience
- High School graduation
- Completion of a Human Services or other related program is required
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in student services role working with students with disabilities
This is an on-call position (0%), commencing September 14, 2026. Salary will be Pay Grade 7, $32.09 per hour in accordance with the PPWC Collective Agreement.
