Confederation College is seeking a Program Support Specialist to join the Distance Education and Continuing Education team at Thunder Bay Campus. The role focuses on admitting and registering students across multiple formats, and advising learners to support access and success.
You will maintain accurate student records, support course/program offerings, and collaborate with Academic Schools and other college departments throughout the academic year.

The incumbent is a vital member of the Distance Education and Continuing Education team who is responsible for accepting, admitting, and registering students (part-time, full-time, funded, and contract) into any Distance Education and Continuing Education offering (courses or programs). The incumbent provides students and potential students with proactive advisement and assistance in support of the College’s strategic commitment to learning centered access. The incumbent is responsible for initiating and maintaining student records from registration to course/program completion or withdrawal. The candidate will provide department–wide registration and delivery support, facilitating course and/or program offerings regardless of Alternate Delivery format. This includes creating and maintaining accurate student registration data and/or records to ensure that all CE/DE deliveries that are eligible are included in the enrolment audit. As a vital member of the Distance and Continuing Education Team, the incumbent works closely with the Academic Schools and various college departments and actively participates in a variety of initiatives throughout the academic year.
