Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Mississauga, ON (near the airport)

Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours / week)

Our client, an industry leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. This role covers financial planning, analysis, reporting, and M&A support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities (accruals, variance analysis, reconciliations, audit support)
  • Build and improve budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Deliver financial models and insights to senior leadership
  • Support acquisitions through due diligence, integration, and reporting
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and ensure compliance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (CPA / CFA / MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate accounting
  • Strong experience with close processes and financial reporting
  • M&A exposure preferred
  • Advanced Excel; ERP / BI tools an asset
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and business acumen skills
