Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a 310T Truck and Coach Certified Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain fleet trucks and equipment. The role requires owning your tools, strong mechanical skills, and a mathematical mindset to ensure repairs meet specifications.

Job includes Monday–Friday day shift, potential weekend work, and a competitive hourly rate of CAD 44.19 with benefits, pension and training opportunities. 1 vacancy existing.

Qualifications

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Certification.
• Own tools to complete maintenance tasks.
• Mathematically inclined to perform precise diagnostics and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service and repair electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, steering and suspension, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, cooling and heating systems.
• Inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions using testing equipment.
• Diagnose faults and determine repair scope and parts needed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and overhaul of engines and transmissions.
• Maintain safe and orderly work environment and complete documentation of work performed.

The 310T Truck and Coach Certified Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic units, diagnosing faults and malfunctions, repairing, replacing, testing and adjusting units to specifications to ensure fleet trucks, trailers and equipment meet established operational and safety standards.

Wage

• $44.19 per hour

Shift

• Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Weekends as required

What We Expect You To Do

• Troubleshoot, service and repair/replace the following: Electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, steering and suspension, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, cooling and heating systems, perform maintenance as per assigned work order.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Service, maintenance and/or overhaul diesel engines, mechanical and hydraulic transmissions.
• Service, maintenance and/or overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
