What is the opportunity?

Summer 2026 internship in the RBC Capital Markets Montreal office for energetic and talented undergraduates and graduates. Successful candidates will be placed in the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities team.

The Summer program runs for 16 weeks and offers interns hands-on experience while working with experienced market professionals.

Based on performance during Summer 2026, interested students will have an opportunity to be considered for full-time opportunities post-graduation within the Global Markets Program.

What will you do?

Summer Analysts will be assigned various projects that may include:

  • Key new business initiatives
  • Market and / or credit analysis
  • Marketing campaigns
  • Client pitches and presentations
  • Equity or debt sales and trading exposure
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have :

  • Candidates must be graduating from their undergraduate programs in December 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Desire to learn and contribute to the RBC Capital Markets team
  • Track record of outstanding academic achievement
  • Proven technical and analytical skills
  • Diversity of extracurricular activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to work as a key team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in French and English to serve clients with English-speaking needs
